I’m working with an established business looking for an experienced Junior Buyer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to join a business on an exciting growth journey. We’re looking for a commercially focused Junior Buyer with apparel experience to manage supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure products land on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing, developing and buying a commercial range that maximises sales and profit
- Lead cost negotiations with suppliers to secure the best prices without compromising quality, whilst maintaining margin and driving profitability
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, guiding them through requirements and holding them accountable for deadlines, quality, and accuracy
- Own and manage the end‑to‑end critical path, tracking development stages, chasing materials and samples, testing, packaging, and approving production steps to keep launches on schedule
- Analysing weekly trade report and identifying actions
- Regular comp shops to identify new and missed opportunities in the range
- Monitor supplier KPIs
- Cross‑team communication
