Position Overview

This role plays a critical part in Wolfspeed’s mission to scale world‑class silicon carbide technology safely, reliably, and sustainably. In your role as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across assigned strategic accounts, developing long‑term customer partnerships, and supporting customers through the full design‑to‑production lifecycle of Wolfspeed’s silicon carbide power devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets, delivering continuous growth across key Industrial and Energy accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business unit strategies and long‑term growth objectives
  • Qualify customer opportunities and evaluate technical and commercial fit for silicon carbide (SiC) power devices
  • Support customers throughout the full design cycle, from samples and prototypes through pilot, pre‑production, and volume production
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations while inspiring internal cross‑functional teams to achieve breakthrough results

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in sales of high‑power semiconductor products
  • Proven negotiation skills with demonstrated sales success (references required)
  • Experience managing large RFQs and complex customer projects
  • Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor devices such as diodes, MOSFETs, and power modules used in high‑power applications
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer locations
  • Fluent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling silicon carbide (SiC) power devices
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
  • Experience working with Industrial, Energy, or Power Electronics customers in EMEA
