Wolfreton is seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our Exam and Data team. Wolfreton is part of The Consortium Academy Trust. We are ambitious about the future - creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our children and young people with the best chance at a successful future. Coupled with this is the commitment, care and investment in our people, who we believe are our greatest asset. If you are a team player who is looking for a varied and interesting new career opportunity within a school then we want to hear from you!
About the Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will oversee and supervise examinations and ensure compliance with the guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures during examination sessions.
About You
The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills to communicate effectively with staff and students. Candidates will be able to work with young people, work with accuracy and attention to detail following predetermined instructions and procedures. Candidates should enjoy working as part of a team in a school environment and in supporting our students at what can be an anxious time in their school career. The position is ideally suited to responsible, punctual, calm, organised and approachable individuals. The school requires invigilators to wear ‘business’ dress to promote a suitable atmosphere within the exam room.
What WE can Offer YOU
In return for your skills and experience, we provide a supportive and friendly environment to develop and thrive. We offer all staff access to an excellent pension (TPS/LGPS); a generous annual leave entitlement with additional shutdown days over the Christmas period; staff development opportunities; free onsite car parking; and a supportive induction programme. Diverse perspectives and experiences are critical to our success and we welcome applications from all people from all backgrounds with the experience and skills needed to perform this role. We want to make sure no one is put at a disadvantage during our recruitment process because of a disability, condition or impairment. To assist you with this, we will reduce or remove any barriers where possible and provide additional support where appropriate. If you need a change to be made so that you can make your application, you should contact our People Services team via vacancies@consortiumtrust.co.uk.
The Consortium Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of all children and expects all staff to share this commitment. An appointment will be made subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS disclosure, in line with the usual terms and conditions of employment at The Consortium Academy Trust.
