WOLFF Onsite is a fast-growing business delivering innovative power and energy solutions across the UK. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team, working with cutting-edge technologies including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid generators, and battery power units.
This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on electrician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys being part of a close-knit, supportive team.
Tasks
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding on:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Hybrid generator and battery units
- Carrying out electrical and minor mechanical work in the yard and on customer sites
- Supporting testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Diagnosing faults and delivering safe, efficient repairs
- Completing job reports and documentation
- Working in line with RAMS, site rules, and company procedures
- Representing WOLFF Onsite professionally on sites across the UK
- Supporting the wider team when required
Requirements
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Proven hands-on electrical experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexibly
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience with generators, power generation, or BESS systems
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (training provided if needed)
- Knowledge of hybrid power systems or battery storage
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
- Mechanical experience or understanding
