Wolfeton Manor is a small residential home in a village location, close to Dorchester.
We are looking for *Weekend* care staff who will share our values, to provide a high quality care service within our home and make a real difference to our residents.
We are looking for people who are caring, happy, friendly, can work both as part of a small team and independently. If you are that kind of person and would like to make a difference by contributing to a great team to provide a warm and safe environment for residents and staff then we would love to hear from you.
Permanent Part-time, or Bank day shift hours available
Shifts timings are:
AM: 7am- 2pm
PM: 2pm - 8pm
*Requirements:*
* Care experience is desirable, but not essential, but a caring, friendly nature is vital and full training will be given.
* You must be willing to complete a new enhanced DBS
* Local or can drive/be driven as in a village location
*Responsibilities:*
* Assisting Residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating.
* Assist in the safe transferring, repositioning and movement of residents.
* Performing light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, keeping residents rooms tidy and assist with laundry.
* Assist and promote residents in daily activities, hobbies and pastimes.
* Observe, monitor and record residents physical and emotional well-being and report any changes.
* Accompany residents on group trips, on individual activities, or to appointments
* Attend on site training sessions and complete on- line training modules required for the role
