The main purpose of the role is to provide high quality administrative support to a team of lawyers. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. It also involves taking a proactive approach to supporting the team, anticipating needs, managing priorities effectively, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional client service.

What will you do?

  • Assist with the opening, management and closing of client files, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
  • Process invoices, monitor outstanding client balances and support credit control activities where required.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks to support the efficient day-to-day running of the department.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support diary management, including scheduling meetings, coordinating availability and organising meeting logistics.
  • Proactively liaise with clients, responding promptly to enquiries and using initiative to deliver an exceptional client experience at every stage.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and training bookings for team members as required.
  • Manage and prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and support team objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant electronic filing systems in line with firm procedures.
