We value every member of the Wolfe Vets team: listening to good ideas, prioritising staff development and using cutting-edge technologies to work to the highest standards.The role: We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our highly skilled and friendly team at Wolfe Vets on a 12-month fixed-term basis.This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys using their initiative and is able to work accurately, to a high standard, ensuring the best care is given to our patients and clients.Role responsibilities: Inpatient careDentistryRadiography & CT scanningUse and maintenance of lab machinesAdmissions and nurse consult proceduresPreferred experience (training can be provided): Orthopaedic surgical nursingChemotherapy nursingCapnography/ECG/Ventilator knowledgePassionate about delivering exceptional care to our patientsCollaborative, you enjoy working with others in a supportive team environmentA strong communicator, you understand the importance of keeping everyone updatedThe ability to multi-task, managing several demands simultaneouslyFlexible and adaptableKind & compassionate to pets, owners and colleagues alikeGood humoured, you have a positive \’can do\’ outlookThe role is mainly daytime working, but on occasion (eg: staff sickness, holidays or unavoidable emergencies) you may be required to cover out of hours patient care or emergencies.Rewards: Cash contributions to routine medical care and treatments (eg: dental appointments, opticians etc)Discounted pet food and veterinary services for own petsCPD fundedLoyalty scheme: Additional annual leave after two years of employment (increasing by a day a year to a maximum of 30 days per annum)Paid overtime & TOILSalary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum dependent on experience (plus paid overtime)
