We celebrate diversity in all its forms and are committed to creating a meritocratic and inclusive environment for our people. Launched in June 2020, Wolfe Vets is independently owned, with RCVS accredited small animal veterinary care based in Chiswick and Fulham. We offer an exceptional standard of round the clock care, with referral treatments and facilities, as well as all the routine consultations, health checks and procedures expected at a family vet. We are passionate about pets and animal welfare; we believe that pets and their owners deserve to be treated with expertise and compassion.

Our client base has grown significantly since we first opened our doors and we are delighted that our reputation for the highest standards of care means that many new pet owners register with us every day. We think that Wolfe Vets is a great, supportive place to work and understand that looking after each other (as well as the animals in our care) is vital.

This role requires a compassionate and enthusiastic registered veterinary night nurse to be a part of our highly skilled and friendly team at Wolfe Vets. Currently, the role is focussed predominantly on inpatients: delivering medication, monitoring and giving compassionate care to our hospitalised patients overnight. We also provide emergency out of hours appointments, which might include emergency surgery, imaging and admitting sick patients who require expert overnight care. We receive both internal and external referrals of patients from other independent veterinary practices across London.

  • Inpatient care - Routine, long-term, emergency, and critical care
  • Use and maintenance of lab machines

Preferred experience (training can be provided):

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Kind & compassionate to pets, owners and colleagues alike

Hours & facilities:

  • The role is mainly night-time working, but on occasion there may be a requirement to help out the day team.
  • 7 nights on, 14 nights off (day shifts and overtime available if you wish to further supplement your hours, however this is optional and open for discussion)
  • Cash contributions to routine medical care and treatments (e.g. dental appointments, opticians etc)
  • Discounted pet food and veterinary services for own pets
  • Additional annual leave after two years of employment
  • Paid overtime & TOIL
