We are looking for an experienced, therapeutically minded Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a wonderful children's EBD home in Nuneaton. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of a home, inspire a committed staff team, and make a genuine, lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable children. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality, and compliance of the children's home, supporting young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will:
- Lead, develop, and motivate a skilled residential care team
- Create a warm, stable, and therapeutic home environment
- Champion therapeutically informed practice, including PACE
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual, psychologists, and therapists
- Drive excellent outcomes for children and positive Ofsted inspections

What We're Looking For
You will be an experienced and confident Registered Manager with a strong background in residential childcare. Essential requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in residential children's care
- At least 2 years experience managing and supervising staff
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Recent Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic approaches, including PACE
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding, regulations, and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015
- Implement and uphold the Statement of Purpose
- Oversee day-to-day operations while advocating for children and young people
- Lead safeguarding practice and promote a strong, safe culture
- Work in line with Ofsted SCCIF expectations
- Recruit, develop, supervise, and retain a high-quality staff team
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Embed the organisation's therapeutically informed training programme into daily practice
