  • Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant standards
  • Champion a robust safeguarding culture, prioritising the welfare of children and young people

Flexibility & Dedication

  • Adapt your schedule to meet the home’s needs, including evening and weekend work or occasional sleeping-in duties
  • Lead by example, stepping in when needed to support your team and foster a culture of collaboration

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring passion, leadership, and a proven track record in child care:

  • Age 21 or older
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working with children in a senior role
  • NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 4 in Health/Social Care, Youth Work, or Education
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services or Children and Young People’s Residential Management (or working towards it)

Desirable Attributes

  • An enhanced portable DBS
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with experience managing a residential care setting
