We are seeking an outstanding Music Graduate to work with young musicians at all levels in a leading music department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop as a musician and an educator, working as part of a supportive team of dedicated and experienced music teachers.

Providing support to the residential teams to deliver outstanding pastoral care and activities for the boarders. Woldingham has 6 boarding houses, each run by a Housemistress and Assistant Housemistress. Graduates form part of the wider boarding team usually assigned to one specific house but with the ability to work across a variety of ages as the need arises.

Woldingham is a happy and successful Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 and is firmly established as one of the top girls' independent schools in the UK, outperforming many schools that are far more selective in their admissions process. Responsibilities:

  • Support to the residential teams to deliver outstanding pastoral care and activities for boarders.
  • Work as part of a wider boarding team, usually assigned to one specific house with the flexibility to work across a variety of ages as needed.
  • Engage with the music department to develop as a musician and educator within a supportive team of dedicated teachers.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Music Graduate with the ability to develop professionally as a musician and educator.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of experienced music teachers.
  • Willingness to contribute to pastoral and co-curricular activities as part of a boarding environment.
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities; able to comply with DBS requirements.
