The Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the company’s Food & Beverage operations in Singapore. This role oversees business growth, operational performance, financial management, regulatory compliance, and people management to ensure sustainable profitability and brand development.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Business Leadership
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Set operational goals, budgets, and performance targets in line with company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion plans within Singapore.
- Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all F&B outlets to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality standards.
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food quality, service, and hygiene.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and profit & loss (P&L) performance.
- Review financial reports and ensure effective cost management, including food cost and manpower cost.
- Approve pricing strategies, promotions, and procurement plans.
- People & Organization Management
- Lead and manage outlet managers, supervisors, and key management staff.
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment strategy, and staff development.
- Set performance KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews for senior staff.
- Ensure compliance with MOM employment regulations and company HR policies.
- Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, including SFA, NEA, MOM, and other relevant authorities.
- Oversee licensing, food safety, workplace safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage audits, inspections, and risk mitigation measures.
- Brand & Stakeholder Management
- Uphold brand standards, reputation, and service excellence.
- Represent the company in dealings with landlords, suppliers, business partners, and government agencies.
- Handle escalated customer or operational issues when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in the F&B industry.
- Proven experience in multi-outlet management preferred.
- Strong understanding of Singapore F&B regulations and operating environment.
- Solid financial management and P&L experience.
