We have an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Team Manager due to the expansion of the Children we care for and young people who are leaving our care team ("Here4U"). As a member of the Here4U team, you will have limitless opportunities to make a huge difference to the lives of children and young people up to 25 years old in our care and leaving care. The team supports these children and young people to ensure they receive the best possible opportunities in life.
The main focus of this Assistant Team Manager role will be to support young people leaving our care in Wokingham. The successful candidate will manage a small team of Personal Advisers, who will ensure that the needs of our young people are being met and long-term aspirations for their lives are being achieved.
We know that the success of any team will be dependent upon the people we employ. To enable you to work to your best, we will develop you in your role and as part of the team; additional training and support will be provided, and you will have an opportunity to develop the range of interventions and skills you bring to make a difference to children and young people.
The Assistant Team Manager role is for those qualified social work managers who want to develop their skills to work systemically, within a trauma-informed and Signs of Safety framework. You will provide support to the Team Manager while delivering quality supervision and support to the team for the young people leaving our care.
Our Offer:- Salary: £53,788 - £57,972 (includes £3k market supplement).
