Service Technician

Service Technician in Sherburn-In-Elmet LS25

Our company is looking for a Service Technician who has the experience and skills to play an integral part in the development of the service side of this business which supplies products into the Plumbing, HVAC and Industrial Sectors.

The Service Technician will be based at our UK Headquarters in Sherburn-In-Elmet and will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of video inspection systems, exhaust gas analysers and dust measuring devices. As Wohler continue to grow the business, this role will evolve into a full-time position.

Main Duties

• Technical advice and acceptance of repair devices on site at the point of sale
• Repair and maintenance of video inspection systems, exhaust gas analysers and dust measuring devices
• Preparation of cost estimates in the merchandise management system
• Processing of technical inquiries (helpdesk)

Skills required

• Completed training as an electronics technician for devices and systems or as an Information electronics technician or similar
• Ideally already professional experience in the repair service or in the assembly of devices expertise
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Extended technical understanding capabilities
• Able to work independently in a reliable and efficient manne
• Good communication skills and comfortable speaking with customers when required
