What You’ll Do

As part of our Groundworks team your role will consist of:
- Assisting experienced groundworkers with day to day site activities
- Learning how to carry out a wide range of groundwork tasks, whilst using the right methods and complying with health and safety standards
- Set up and prepare sites prior to works commencing
- Organising, moving and loading out of materials whilst keeping sites / work areas tidy
- Gaining knowledge and acquiring hands on experience with drainage, foundations, kerbing, paving, concreting, excavation support, and general below ground construction works
- Learning how to use and handle tools, equipment, materials and site machinery safely
- Following site health and safety rules and regulations at all times
- Learning how to work as a team in order to carry out works safely and efficiently in order to delivery high quality projects within the given timeframe
- Building valuable skills, confidence, respect and experience on site in order to progress your career and grow as an individual
