A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the management accounting section. They will use their financial expertise to ensure all aspects of a busy manufacturing finance department are provided against stringent deadlines.
A day in the life of a Management Accountant:
- You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for senior management and head office.
- To provide a full accounting service with a diverse remit including MIS, monthly standard reporting, VAT returns, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- You will be problem-solving and making suggestions on improvements to the overall running of the department.
- You will be involved in production of materials for meetings and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
- Additional duties will involve undertaking project work where applicable, supporting the Finance team to drive initiatives to meet the Companies' vision and mission.

- You need to be a confident qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience of building high performing teams.
- A highly motivated self-starter, with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- You will need to be able to prioritise team tasks effectively and thrive working in a dynamic, high pressure environment.
- A team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative, you will display excellent interpersonal skills whilst supporting the business.
- You will have strong IT skills including advanced excel and SAP.

You will be working from our Wrexham based site which is home to our MHRA approved sterile injectable manufacturing facility.
