Woburn Landscaping is an award-winning landscaping company delivering quality garden design across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a General Manager to help lead the company and support the next stage of Woburn Landscaping.
This is a full-time role based in Milton Keynes. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring jobs are delivered to a high standard, customers are looked after, and the team has everything they need to perform at their best. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and act as the link between the site teams, suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the business
- Manage project schedules and workloads
- Support and manage site teams and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected standard
- Maintain excellent customer communication throughout projects
- Monitor quality control across all works
- Manage suppliers, materials and deliveries
- Help improve systems, processes and efficiency across the business
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Monitor job profitability and business performance
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Support the continued growth of the company
