Senior Java Developer (DevOps Transformation Lead)
Contract: 6 months
Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in London, UK)
Industry: Finance (Payments/Banking preferred)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps expertise to play a key role in driving a major DevOps transformation initiative within a regulated financial environment. This is a hands-on position where you will lead development efforts while implementing modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based web services with some Front End components (web and native mobile).

Lead the DevOps transformation by introducing best practices and tools across the development life cycle.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket.

Integrate monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements within the financial sector.
