We are looking for an organised, detail-driven Project Planner to support a Lead Project Manager on a data centre programme. This is an urgent requirement for someone who thrives on structure, coordination, and keeping complex projects on track.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data centre operations, construction, cabling, OEMs, and internal project teams to develop and maintain an integrated master schedule covering the next phase of delivery. This role is well suited to someone with strong data centre project experience who enjoys working behind the scenes to enable delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling & Planning
- Develop, maintain, and own detailed master project schedules from concept through to completion
- Produce 4D schedules covering CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scopes
- Where applicable, integrate 3D models to support progress tracking and visualisation
- Progress Tracking & Reporting
- Track project progress against baseline schedules
- Produce regular schedule updates and performance reports for stakeholders
- Use reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) to present clear, actionable insights
- Perform critical path and dependency analysis
- Identify schedule risks and potential delays early
- Propose mitigation and recovery strategies in collaboration with project leadership
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams including engineering, procurement, finance, and delivery
- Align schedules with procurement lead times, construction sequencing, and commissioning milestones
- Documentation & Change Control
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Track changes, revisions, and impacts to the schedule
- Support commissioning and handover planning
- Proven experience in data centre project planning or scheduling
- Strong understanding of CSA and MEP delivery in mission-critical environments
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and disciplines
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Experience with planning and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project or similar)
- Willingness to travel across Europe as required
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or high-performance computing environments
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Familiarity with 4D / 3D scheduling methodologies
