POST - ACCOUNTS AND PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBLE TO –OFFICE MANAGER/DIRECTOR

JOB SUMMARY

To manage and support the company with accounts input, bank reconciliation, banking transactions, payroll input, HR administration and other general administrative tasks. To ensure that employees follow office processes, handle and redirect incoming calls and act as first-line contact for visitors to the business.

DESCRIPTION

WMS Services (Cambridge) Ltd operate from several facilities in Cambridgeshire, Thrapston, Tamworth and Crewe, primarily in the agricultural and haulage industries.

The Accounts and Payroll Administrator will work closely with the Office Manager, Director and other team members to ensure that all jobs are completed to a high level in good time.

MAJOR TASKS

· Daily reconciliation of accounts package (predominantly Xero)

· Data entry and database maintenance

· Invoicing

· Filing and archiving

· Creating and managing documents, spreadsheets and presentations

· Compiling reports

· Payroll processing

· Banking responsibilities and reconciliation

· Taking verbal and written instructions

· Speaking to customers and clients to answer queries and resolve issues

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Be IT literate in accounts and payroll packages, and be confident using a range of programs relevant to the industry. Customer service skills. Be able to work with a team as well as independently, take directions from others and collaborate effectively. Will be required to participate in appropriate training, including Health & Safety, First Aid, and any other relevant maintenance related upskilling. Must be able to multi task and prioritize busy workload with a thorough, methodical approach.
