Blakedown CE Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and organised candidate to support our busy and thriving Wrap Around Care provision. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, demonstrates patience and empathy, remains calm under pressure and ensures children have a range of enjoyable experiences before and after school.
Job role
- Prepare food (on occasion) in accordance with menu and hygiene practices
- Lead activities including arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games
- Use initiative and be proactive
- Ensure all children are included, engaged and supported
- Maintain positive working relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
- Possible additional opportunities to be part of holiday clubs in the future
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management experience; ability to lead all planned activities.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
