Location: Greenhill Lodge, Worcester

Employment type: Various permanent contracts, working days and nights shifts, hours per week based on role.

Salary: Support Worker £25,185 (based on 37 hrs); Senior Support Worker £31,537 – £33,699 (based on 37 hrs).

Overview: Greenhill Lodge is an exciting new unit. We aim to provide person‑centred, dignified care to individuals with complex needs, supporting independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex learning disabilities, physical needs, mental health, autism and other related needs.
  • Follow health action plans, eating/drinking plans, behaviour management plans, epilepsy plans and risk assessments.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, emotional, psychological, practical and social support to meet chosen outcomes.
  • Support safe moving and handling, including use of wheelchairs or walking aids.
  • Encourage participation in meaningful activities and community engagement to promote social inclusion.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience supporting people with care and support needs.
  • Understanding of the rights of people with learning disabilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • IT skills and good recording skills; computer skills an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically, with a sense of humour.
  • Excellent team player with initiative.

Additional Requirements:

  • Can‑do attitude and willingness to learn and attend relevant training.
