We are looking for a committed and detail-focused Transport Monitoring Officer to support Worcestershire County Council in ensuring that transport services across the county are safe, reliable, and compliant. This is a varied, field‑based role where you will monitor contracted transport services, ensuring compliance with legislation and the council’s terms and conditions, while supporting continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake on‑site monitoring of contracted transport services across Worcestershire
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and council standards
  • Assess contractor performance against specifications and contractual requirements
  • Record findings clearly and provide accurate, evidence‑based reports
  • Investigate complaints, incidents, and non‑compliance, recommending appropriate action
