The Chantry School is seeking a passionate science colleague to join them from September 2026. The school is based in rural West Worcestershire, but within easy reach of Worcester. We are a high achieving, over-subscribed, 11-16 school of approximately 880 pupils; within the Heart of Mercia MAT. Our pupils are keen to learn and respond extremely well to high quality teaching.
Position: Teacher of Science (preferably with a Physics or Chemistry specialism) – Main Scale/UPS, full time, required from September 2026.
Responsibilities- Deliver consistently high-quality lessons across the full age and ability range and across all three sciences, particularly Physics and/or Chemistry.
- Teach across the full age and ability range and have capacity to deliver all 3 sciences, particularly Physics and/or Chemistry.
- Contribute to a welcoming and well-resourced science department with two technicians.
- Committed to delivering consistently high-quality lessons.
- Love of their subject and a passion to share knowledge.
- Desire to develop practice in a supportive environment.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
- Ability to teach all 3 sciences with emphasis on Physics and/or Chemistry.
