Worcestershire County Council is recruiting a skilled Senior Estates Surveyor to join its Estates Team in Corporate Landlord Services, part of the Council’s Economy and Infrastructure Directorate.

Responsibilities

  • The role involves working with colleagues in the directorate, across the Council and with public sector partners to support service delivery through property solutions and to achieve corporate objectives.
  • The Senior Surveyor will manage a broad portfolio of properties, handling rent reviews, new leases and renewals, acquisitions and disposals, service charges and other General Practice Estate Management tasks.
  • The employee will also manage a small team of Estate Surveyors.

Hybrid working is encouraged and offers the opportunity to purchase additional annual leave beyond the generous allowance.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be a qualified Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have a successful track record in a similar role.
  • Previous local authority experience is not required.
