Catshill First School & Nursery is welcoming, positive and inclusive. The core purpose of the federation is to provide a nurturing community that challenges all to succeed. You will join an extremely caring staff with a ‘can do’ attitude to change and development. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Receptionist to join our school. The successful candidate will be required to prioritise and manage a frequently changing workload, possess good organisational skills, develop good working relationships with the Administration team and will be a responsible and reliable individual.

  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and support staff in their development and training
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to an appropriate person

Both Catshill Middle School and Catshill First School have recently joined the Spire Church of England Learning Trust. This is an exciting time for both schools and all staff. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barring List Check. Hours: 35 hours per week, Term Time plus TED days
