Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Contract: Permanent, 28 Hours per Week
Location: Wildwood Offices, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, WR5 2QT
Salary: Β£35,000 β Β£39,999 per annum
Team: Quality Assurance and Compliance Team
Role Description
At Worcestershire County Council, the People Directorate works with a wide range of partners across social care and health to deliver our strategy β ensuring Worcestershire residents are healthier, live longer, have a better quality of life and remain independent for as long as possible. The Quality Assurance function is well established within the Commissioning Unit. The Quality Assurance Team ensures that commissioned services in Worcestershire offer high quality, safe care that meets contractual requirements and tangibly improves outcomes for adults in Worcestershire.
Responsibilities
- Ensure commissioned services meet contractual requirements and improve outcomes for adults.
- Work closely with providers, partners and individuals accessing commissioned services.
- Conduct quality assurance activities to safeguard high quality, safe care.
Qualifications
- Excellent skills and knowledge in understanding social care quality standards.
- Ability to work at a fast pace, resilience, and analytical thinking.
- Reliable travel throughout the county.
- Proficiency in the use of IT systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
