Cranstoun Worcestershire operates an alcohol and drug service across the county, providing a range of services for individuals using alcohol or substances and for young people and families through the Here4Youth service. With a central hub in Worcester, interventions are delivered across all six districts via shared care schemes and community outreach locations.
As a Nurse you will work flexibly within the service to provide a range of clinical services to people who use drugs and/or alcohol, promoting recovery, harm reduction and improved physical and mental wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for people who use substances (PWUS).
- Managing clinical risk and safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team and with partner agencies.
- Covering core service hours Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and additional shifts on some days 8am–9am and 5pm–7pm on a rota basis.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration OR a qualified Paramedic or equivalent.
- Experience working with people who use substances and/or carers or other vulnerable groups.
