The Hive is seeking a Library Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality literacy, reading and learning services within a busy, community-focused environment. The role is based at The Hive, Worcestershire County Council, with a permanent contract and a salary of £15,458 to £16,769 per annum. The post is 20 hours per week and located at The Hive in the Libraries team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff, set clear expectations, and support high performance across the customer services team.
- Work closely with colleagues and partner organisations to deliver a wide range of services that promote learning, engagement and wider community participation.
Role requirements / Qualifications
- Strong understanding of information resources.
- Positive and proactive approach to customer service.
- Confidence to work effectively with all customers, including children and young people.
- Ability to motivate and inspire the team, promote a clear sense of purpose, and foster a constructive, forward-looking working culture.
