Catshill First School & Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing First School community. This is a key role for someone who loves working with young children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels when leading learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Confidently cover whole-class lessons across EYFS and KS2 & KS3
  • Lead and support our team of Teaching Assistants, modelling excellent practice
  • Deliver and help co-ordinate high-quality interventions that help pupils make strong progress
  • Build warm, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Contribute to our culture of Kindness, Aspiration, and Self-Belief

Qualifications:

  • Has HLTA status or equivalent experience
  • Is calm, organised, and able to think on their feet
  • Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of early learning
  • Can maintain high expectations while nurturing every child’s confidence
  • Enjoys being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team
