Red Hill CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Deputy Headteacher to work as part of our dynamic and forward-thinking leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed leader to play a key role in shaping the future direction of our school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, Governors and wider leadership team to maintain and further develop the school’s strong Christian ethos, high standards of teaching and learning, and inclusive, caring environment.
We are looking for an inspirational practitioner with a proven track record of leadership, a passion for school improvement and the ability to motivate and support staff and pupils alike.
Responsibilities- Have a proven track record of high-quality teaching & learning within the primary age range.
- Have experience of working at leadership level within a school setting.
- Have a clear understanding of the curriculum and assessment for learning.
- Be able to lead a phase of the school (KS1 or KS2) as part of their role.
- Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement.
- Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum planning that captures the children’s interest.
- Be forward-thinking, innovative and highly energetic.
- Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children.
- Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community.
