Worcestershire County Council is seeking an Assistant Countryside Sites Officer. This is a key post within a team responsible for managing a range of popular Country Parks, Picnic Places and Local Nature Reserves throughout south and west Worcestershire.

The role involves:

  • Ensuring that sites are kept clean, tidy and in a good state of repair.
  • Managing volunteers.
  • Carrying out habitat creation and enhancement projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people and a naturally friendly and positive attitude.
  • Good practical skills.
  • A driving licence.
  • Experience of countryside estate work.
