Christopher Whitehead Language College seeks an Administration Assistant to start 1 September 2026. The post is permanent, part-time (25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9.00 am – 2.00 pm, term time only plus 5 teacher education days).
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support across the school as required.
- Prioritise workload in line with direction from the line manager.
- Deliver accurate, timely administration for the Additional Needs departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and handle it sensitively.
- Type up minutes during meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Reliable and organised.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Typing experience for minutes.
Salary
Scale 3, points 5–6 (£15,183 – £15,424 per annum, equivalent to £25,583 – £25,989 full time). Pay award pending.
Benefits
