St John’s Primary Academy, Essington is a large, successful primary academy committed to providing an excellent education for its pupils. The Governors wish to appoint an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant.
Contract: Maternity Cover, fixed-term contract (Starting January 2026)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Grade 3 £19,210 (Actual approx.)
Responsibilities:
- Support children with a range of learning needs alongside teachers and other practitioners.
- Assist in developing and delivering an appropriate curriculum in line with the children’s needs.
- Encourage children to learn, be motivated, and achieve realistic goals socially and academically.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
- Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold the relevant qualifications required for the role.
