Codsall High is a comprehensive school for students in Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi‑rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and more than two hundred in its successful sixth form. Codsall High is a good school where pupils behave and achieve well (see OFSTED report).

Geography is a popular choice at the school as a GCSE option and also an A Level. The current post holder has successfully secured an exciting new role building on their work at Codsall and we are therefore looking for a dynamic and inspirational teacher to join our school in January 2027 (or earlier if possible).

Responsibilities
  • Teach GCSE Geography.
  • Teach A Level Geography.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Ability to teach GCSE Geography is essential.
  • Qualified teacher at the early stage of their career or an experienced teacher who would like to join a successful school.
  • Excellent support will be provided within the Geography Department and from across the school to help you continue your development as a teacher.
