Moreton School is a large secondary school serving a disadvantaged part of Wolverhampton with a thriving sixth form and a football academy linked to Paris St. Germain. The Role: School Receptionist

Are you highly organised, proactive, and committed to supporting staff, students, parents and visitors at the highest level? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as School Receptionist – someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands the importance of excellence both front-facing and behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a busy reception desk.
  • Welcome and address all pupil, parent/carer and visitor enquiries in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer telephone enquiries, filtering calls, passing the enquiry to an appropriate member of staff, or dealing directly with requests for information.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service in all dealings with stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support across the Academy.

Salary: NJC Grade 3 Points 4-6 – £25,185 – £25,969 (FTE)

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Weeks: TTO

Contract: Permanent

Location: Moreton School, Old Fallings Lanes, Wolverhampton WV10 8BY

Safeguarding

This role requires an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
