Amethyst Academies Trust is seeking an experienced and confident member of pastoral staff to lead and manage our Refocus provision at Aldersley, a high-impact, short-term provision designed to help students make effective choices in their behaviour and reintegrate back into school successfully. The provision is located on site, in our Success Centre adjacent to the main buildings, and allows for withdrawal for students in order to provide focused intervention and high-impact catch-up provision to allow them to re-enter mainstream lessons rapidly and successfully.
In post, you will lead and manage the provision, ensuring that students complete an appropriate and effective programme of study and restorative practice, liaising with teachers to provide high-quality experiences. You will also co-ordinate two other members of staff to lead impactful interventions with students during their temporary stay in the provision, designed to enable them to thrive in mainstream lessons. This role will allow you to work in service of students who really need an additional boost in their engagement with school, making a real difference in their achievement.
