Wolverhampton Homes Ltd is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Property Supervisor - Planned Repairs to join our Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality planned maintenance and improvement works across our housing stock, ensuring residents receive excellent services and value for money.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing planned repairs and improvement works delivered by external contractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Monitoring and managing contractor performance to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Carrying out inspections and quality checks on completed works.
- Managing customer issues, complaints and service failures, ensuring positive outcomes for residents.
- Building effective working relationships with contractors, residents and internal teams.
- Challenging poor performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Monitoring KPIs, contractor compliance and service performance.
- Supporting the delivery of planned maintenance programmes and property improvement projects.
- Ensuring Health & Safety, compliance and regulatory requirements are met at all times.
- Attending contractor meetings and contributing to performance reviews and service development initiatives.
About You
- Experience working within housing, construction, property maintenance or a similar environment.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers or third-party service providers.
- Confidence in handling difficult conversations and challenging poor performance when required.
- Strong customer service skills and experience resolving customer concerns.
- Ability to effectively balance competing priorities and manage your workload.
- Confidence in interpreting technical information and monitoring service quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships whilst maintaining accountability and challenging where necessary.
Experience of working within social housing, planned maintenance or contractor management environments would be advantageous.
