About The Role

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership of a pensions administration team, ensuring workloads are effectively managed, performance targets are met and LGPS regulations are applied consistently. You’ll play a key role in service delivery, staff development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and support a pensions administration team
  • Manage workflows, priorities and resource planning to meet KPIs, statutory deadlines and internal team targets
  • Oversee the delivery of accurate LGPS pension calculations and administration
  • Support recruitment, training, performance management and development of team members
  • Monitor and report on performance, compliance and service standards
  • Contribute to service improvement, change initiatives and business planning
