LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR (Ref: SBMAT414)
Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time Only (12 months in the first instance)
Grade: 2 / Spine Point 3-4
Salary: £24,796 - £25,185 (FTE) (£2,882.15 - £2,927.36 per week, 5 hours / 44.85 weeks paid)
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Oak Meadow Primary School, Wolverhampton
Responsibilities
- Supervise children before, during and after lunch
- Assist children with cutlery and table manners
- Promote positive behaviour
- Clean and sanitize eating areas
- Organize and lead games and activities during lunch recess
- Administer first aid as required
- Maintain a friendly, supportive and inclusive lunchtime environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong communication skills with children and adults
- Ability to work effectively within school safeguarding and welfare policies
- Previous experience or proven ability to support children during lunchtime (not strictly mandatory but preferred)
- Professional references (two suitable references required)
- Willingness and ability to comply with DBS checks and other pre‑employment checks
