Bhylls Acre Primary is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will help ensure a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children in the dining hall, playground and around the school.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and good manners.
  • Support children during play, promoting inclusive and cooperative games.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils in line with school policies.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas as needed.
  • Manage minor first-aid incidents (training can be provided).

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post. All pre‑employment checks are undertaken inline with KCSIE. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Location: Bhylls Acre Primary School, Bhylls Ln, Wolverhampton WV3 8DZ

Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Grade: Grade 2, points 3-4 £24,796 – £25,185, actual pro‑rata salary £3,603 – £3,810
