The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking an Apprentice to promote and support the work and services of the Projects and Change Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in a project management environment.

About The Role

  • Provide professional support to the Projects and Change Service
  • Assist with the analysis of information relating to the progress of projects and programmes across the organisation
  • Support the Programme Office function with a variety of day-to-day activities
  • Administer Verto, the Council's project management system

This opportunity will allow the apprentice to further develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in this area and be a part of a fantastic team. You will be supported by experienced staff who can assist you with your work and study to give you the experience to apply for other roles within the Council. You will also be trained to use various IT systems that support the efficient delivery of our services.

City of Wolverhampton Council holds a high retention rate of apprentices who go on to gain full-time employment within the authority.

  • Non-UK Nationals: To be eligible for this post, you must have resided in the UK for the last three years.
  • If you already have previous qualifications in a similar area, please contact People Development and Experience Team to check you are eligible to apply.
  • If you have achieved maths and English qualifications overseas, you must provide an ENIC certificate to be eligible for the role.

Please ensure that you check the essential criteria for the role and in particular the mandatory English and mathematic grades. Failure to state your achieved grades in these subjects will result in your application being rejected.
