Wolverhampton Homes Ltd is looking for a hands-on, solution-focused HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources Team. This is a busy, varied role where you’ll provide expert HR advice and operational support while also contributing to wider people initiatives, working closely with managers to deliver great people outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with managers to ensure timely resolution of people issues and effective risk management.
- Manage a varied and complex caseload, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes in line with employment law and WH policies.
- Build trusted relationships with service areas, contributing to their workforce planning and people priorities.
- Provide advice on service reviews where there are HR implications and consultation requirements and support the implementation of organisational changes.
- Support the development, review and implementation of policies, ensuring they reflect best practice and organisational needs.
- Utilise digital solutions to collate, analyse and present people data and metrics to inform decisions and identify trends.
- Line manage up to two team members, supporting their growth, performance and day-to-day workload.
About you
- Do you hold a CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) and have strong experience delivering generalist, operational HR support?
- Do you have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and experience of interpreting legislation into policy and practical guidance for managers?
- Can you confidently manage complex, sensitive employee relations cases independently while balancing a fast-paced workload?
- Are you someone who builds strong relationships quickly and offers clear, pragmatic advice?
- Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where influence, initiative and sound judgement are essential?
