The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated HLTA who enjoys bringing learning to life and supporting pupils across the curriculum. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will help ensure every child feels confident, included and ready to achieve.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging PPA cover that maintains continuity and supports high expectations for learning.
- Provide cover for planned leadership time as well as ad hoc unplanned cover.
- Provide targeted interventions to help pupils make strong progress.
- Lead lessons confidently, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different classes and learners.
- Support children with SEND through inclusive practice that helps them access learning successfully.
- Work collaboratively with staff to contribute to a positive and well‑organised classroom environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings energy, care and professionalism to every aspect of their work. You will build positive relationships naturally, communicate clearly and work flexibly to meet the needs of pupils and staff.
We’re Looking For
- A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, with evidence that you meet the HLTA professional standards.
- The ability to form strong, trusting relationships with pupils and parents.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when working with children, families and colleagues.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and classroom needs.
- Experience of working across different key stages.
