- Full‑time permanent position
Location : Wolverhampton – Civic Centre and other suitable locations within the city.

You will play an integral part in achieving the City of Wolverhampton Council’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload including commercial projects, contracts, procurement, advising on Public Contracts Regulations and the Council’s Standing Orders.
- Balance competing priorities to help clients manage large projects and programmes of work.
- Maintain awareness of the corporate and commercial implications of your advice.
- Undertake technical and complex research requiring interpretation and analytical skills, partnering with colleagues and clients to deliver solutions on contractual and procurement issues.
- Active involvement in client care and business development.
Qualifications and experience
- A passion to further a career in Corporate Law.
- Experience in commercial contracts, procurement and construction contracts, public health contracts, IT contracts, frameworks, and concession contracts.
- The ability to work confidently and effectively alone or as part of a team.
- A desire to develop legal skills to achieve technical excellence.
