Cleaner – St John’s Primary Academy

St John\’s Primary Academy located in Essington, Walsall and Wolverhampton area, caters to pupils aged 2 to 11, with a before and after school provision. There are 715 children on roll.

Position: Permanent cleaner (full‑time) 12.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 3:45 pm–6:15 pm, term time plus 4 weeks. Requires presence for 42 weeks per year (38 weeks school term plus 20 days closure).

Start date: January 2026. Salary: Grade 1 £7,700 (actual).

Responsibilities: Work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to undertake individually or as part of a team the cleaning of designated areas of the Academy and associated accommodation to keep them in a clean and hygienic condition.

Qualifications: Entry level. No specific qualifications listed beyond the above.

Senior level: Entry level. Employment type: Part‑time.
