Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a qualified individual to manage catering facilities at Wednesfield Technology Primary School. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-standard, value-for-money meals for students, staff, and visitors. The role is required to start in August/September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the catering facilities within the school.
- Maintain and create menus to enhance the lunchtime experience.
- Provide catering support for extended school activities, school events, and meetings.
- Strive for continual improvement of food quality and service.
- Ensure compliance with all food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety, COSHH, risk management and the Trust’s processes.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have experience working in a high-volume catering environment and managing staff.
- All post-holders must obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and a Children’s Barred List check for carrying out a regulated activity.

Working Conditions
- Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 2 weeks.
- Grade: Band D SCP 9 – 17 (£27,255 – £31,022 per annum pro rata).
- Actual Salary: £24,843 – £28,397 per annum.
- Location: Wednesfield Technology Primary, Lichfield Road, Wolverhampton WV11 1TP.
- Contract: Permanent.
