  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Building Safety Act, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
  • Experience of managing risk in complex, high‑risk environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across a large organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong decision‑making skills.

Relevant professional qualifications in fire safety/building safety are essential (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety, Level 5 Diploma in Fire Engineering Design).

Benefits Of Working With Us:

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service, with the option to buy extra leave each year.
  • Excellent pension scheme through the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
