Colton Hills Community School is seeking a Technician to support the Art and Design curriculum. This role reports to the Curriculum Leaders for Art and Design Technology and provides efficient, effective and safe technical services to students and teachers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the Art and Design curriculum.
  • Maintain and repair technical equipment and related machinery.
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed.
  • Carry out all duties in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced and trained in the use of tools and related machinery in a Design and Technology curriculum area.
  • Familiar with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
  • Willing to undertake further training as necessary.

Other requirements: Criminal Records Check (Enhanced DBS) required for all staff and volunteers.

Contract: 2 year fixed term. Part‑time or full‑time considered.

Start date: 1 September 2026.

Closing date: 22nd June 2026 at 9.00 am.
