Responsibilities:

  • Support and drive the ethos of the department and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to teaching and development of PE across the whole age and ability range, including Key Stage 4 and/or 5 examination groups.
  • Commit to supporting the extracurricular sport programme.
  • Collaborate with seven specialist teachers to deliver curriculum sports and enrichment programmes.
  • Promote and deliver a high level of extracurricular provision.

Applicants are expected to possess substantial experience in teaching Physical Education at Key Stages 3–5 and in supporting extracurricular sport provision. All employees are required to uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.
